The new artist book, self-designed by Olaf Nicolai – one of the most successful concept artists of recent times–will be published. In addition the works from the exhibition in the Kunstmuseum Ittingen will be introduced: »Mirador« is the only copy of a photograph, held by a notary, of the vantage point of »Mirador« on Robinson Crusoe island. Nicolai subverts the real characteristic of photography, reproducibility.

The video work »Rodakis«, which examines the myth of the unknown Alexis Rodakis on the greek island of Aegina, and »Samani. Some Proposals to answer important Questions«, a computer-guided set of headlights that slides up and down on a pole, and which seems to be searching incessantly for an answer to the important questions, as the title suggests.
